Accomodation

Arrival and departure:

Participants, trainers, judges and official guests of the Championship will be met in the airport (on the railway station) and seeing off on the way home by representatives of the organizers. We are planning to use organizers transport from the airport (railway station) to the hotel and back.

Attention: please, inform us about your flight (train) number, date and time of arrival to Moscow and of departure from Moscow beforehand.

Hotel:

We offer participants, trainers, judges and official guests of the Championship to lodge in the hotel “Sherston” (the former name “Vostok-1” – Moscow, Gostinichnyi proezd, 8, tel. (7) (095) 482-13-06.

Please, inform the Championship organizers till March 1, 2002 about how many persons are going to come and which apartments do they need.

Approximate cost of the rooms (meal is not included):

1.     Three-room apartments for two persons (Suite) - USD 100 / day (there is only one apartment in the hotel).

2.     Two-room apartments for two persons (Semi-Suite) – from USD 30 up to 67 / day.

3.     Room for single person – from USD 17 up to 34 / day.

4.     Room for two persons – from USD 20 up to 44 / day.

Notice:

1.     First day of living in the hotel costs 25% more (for reservation).

2.     You should pay additionally USD 1,5 / day per dog.

There is a business center in the hotel – copy maker, fax, computer (Internet), scanner – from 10.00 till 18.00.

Voltage – 220 v.

There is a currency exchange in the hotels building.

There will be provided a transport to the stadium and back to the hotel “Sherston” for participants, trainers, judges and official guests of the championship

Meal in the hotel:

Café – 24 hours.

Approximate cost of the dinner (salad, soup, meat/fish with garnish, juice) USD 7,5 per person.

Bar – 24 hours.

In this case you’d better be convinced that the chosen hotel is not far from the stadium, so that it was conveniently for you to get to the stadium. You can ask administration of the hotel or the organizers about it. We remind you stadium address: Moscow, Eastern administrative district, Stromynka str., 4, Sports palace “Spartak” (the other name is Sports Palace of Bratyev Znamenskyh).

Meal on the stadium:

1.     Café in the sports palace.

2.     McDonald’s (five minutes on foot from the stadium) – approximate cost of the dinner USD 3-5.

Attention:

Payments in the shops, restaurants, hotels and so on in Russia are made in cash roubles. Credit cards are not wide used, and the problems with bank machines are possible. So it is strongly recommended to have cash with you. The currency exchange rate in the airport is not good. The main currencies exchanged in Moscow – US dollars and Deutsch marks. May be, there will already be the EURO exchange in March.
